Satin Pyjamas

Overview

The project aims to create versatile homewear that is suitable for both sleeping and everyday use outside the home. The pajamas are made from 100% cotton with a satin weave and a density of 170 g/m²: the material provides coolness, a slight sheen, a flowing silhouette, does not roll up, and withstands repeated washing. The emphasis is on comfort, durability, and the ability to mix and match pieces with other clothing.

Design Process

Development began with testing fabrics for durability after washing.
The silhouette is based on classic shapes with the addition of functional details: wide cuffs for turning up, large trouser hems for adjusting the length, and an elongated shirt suitable for wearing separately. The prototype was sewn by a technologist, and the fit was checked during fittings. The final set includes a loose shirt with a turn-down collar and pocket, as well as mid-rise trousers with an elastic waistband. The details ensure the versatility of the set: the pajamas are suitable for leisure, and individual elements can be worn as part of casual outfits.
